The second piece in my Wildlife Collection, the Bluebirds were a wonderful commissioned as a wedding present. The flying bird's wing and tail were made from separate pieces of buckskin, and the wood perch was hand cut and fit by myself while out on a walk.
This piece is now available as a print.
As always, the original piece was entirely handmade, burned on traditional buckskin and painted with natural pigments using primitive bone tools.
This 11"x14" giclée reproduction of my original deer leather image includes the matting itself in high resolution. All you need to do is frame it in a standard 11x14" frame, no need for matting!
My giclée prints are available on two types of paper: Heavyweight Enhanced Matte Paper which will appear textured, but is smooth to the touch.
Want something a little more special? You can also get the map printed on Heavier, Fine Art, Watercolor Paper which has a texture and feel similar to the buckskin original for an increased price. This version includes hand embellishments painted with the same natural pigments and bone tools as the original piece.
